If you are ever lucky enough to go to Botswana, you will probably go to the Okavango Delta, the world's largest inland delta. The delta is the home of an estimated 200,000 large mammals that includes elephant, buffalo, hippo, wildebeest, giraffe crocodile, lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena, rhino, zebra, warthog and baboon. No wonder people want to visit!

I wasn't sure what to expect when I traveled to the delta. The dug out canoe guide took me deeper and deeper into the delta. I wondered how a hotel was ever built so far in the wilderness. Well, it wasn't. My safari was a camping safari on a small island in the middle of nowhere! It wasn't what I expected, but it was an occasion to be enjoyed.
